Daniele Mallarico is a renowned illustrator and widower living alone in Milan, and the grandfather of Mario — a mischievous five-year-old who speaks like a grown-up. When Daniele’s daughter asks him to return to the family home in Naples to look after his grandson for a few days, a genuine duel ensues between child and patriarch, confined within the space of four walls and a balcony.
