The Move

In a riverside village, a grandfather lives with his granddaughter in harmony with the simplicity of traditional Kyrgyz life. One day, the girl’s mother – and the old man’s daughter – asks them to sell the house and move with her to the city, promising a better life. But when at arrival, they discover she is in debt and they have nowhere to sleep. A minimalist drama that captures the harshness of reality and the fragility of existence.
