The French Teacher

Graça lives in Belo Horizonte, where she gives private French lessons and lives with her French girlfriend. Following a health emergency involving her father, she returns to her childhood home in the suburbs, where she receives support from a network of neighbors involved in a local religious congregation. As they attempt to bring her back to "her place," Graça finds herself drawn into a real-life horror story shaped by intolerance and fanaticism.
