In the late 19th century, in the Hungarian plains, a group of farm workers decided to go on strike, demanding basic rights from the landowner. Their efforts were met by mounted soldiers, with the farmers facing harsh reprisals in a scenario of revolt, oppression, morality, and violence. Még kér a nép fuses politics and poetry, conveying a historical and philosophical critique of socialist ideas.
