Oú en êtes-vous, Yervant Gianikian et Angela Ricci Lucchi?

In this short film, screened and commissioned by the Centre Pompidou in Paris, Gianikian and Ricci Lucchi revisit regions at war or in crisis through archive images of the 20th century. Irak, Afghanistan, Greece, Palestine, Jerusalem, Guatemala. Mayan descendents, Syrian refugees, men, women, children, always threatened by the pervasive violence that envelops their villages, their cities, their countries. A look at their faces, their customs, their landscapes, before and after. Pondering on the state of the world, the film asks: where are we at today?
