The Miracle Worker

This is the story of Helen Keller, a journalist, philosopher, and activist who was born deaf and blind, and dramatically overcame her condition with the help of educator Anne Sullivan. Adapted from William Gibson’s play (staged by the director and starring the same actresses), the film reveals a difficult and demanding process, in which Sullivan breaks down barriers to instill the idea of language, in an exhausting and violent process.
