Le Divan de Staline

In a secret residence where an older Stalin is resting for a few days, young painter Danilov comes to present his artistic project of a posthumous monument to the dictator’s glory. Lidia, Stalin’s mistress, has selected Danilov and his work among other artists and was the one who introduced him to Stalin. By making this choice, it is also her life that is at stake in this encounter, which quickly becomes  a game of deceit, lies and terror.
