Pianists Street

In a small street in Brussels there is an unusual concentration of pianists: first, the home of Martha Argerich; then, that of Sergio Tiempo and Karin Lechner, four generations of pianistic wonders. At only fourteen years of age, Natasha Binder is the heir to a dynasty, its last great promise. In the diaries of her mother, who was also a prodigious child, and in the company of her pianist neighbours, Natasha searches for answers to a key question: what is it, in short, to be a pianist?
