Jim’s Story

By sheer coincidence, Aymeric encounters Florence, whom he met years earlier while they were both working at a supermarket. He has just been released from prison, and she is six months pregnant. The two fall in love, and Aymeric is present when Florence gives birth to their son, Jim. The three form a family in the Jura Mountains, but their happiness is disrupted years later when Christophe, Jim's biological father, returns to their lives. This intimate journey unfolds against a backdrop of mountainous landscapes that reflect the inner complexities of the characters in this melodrama about paternity, the passage of time, love, and resignation.
