In the Dusk

Following the end of the Second World War, in an isolated village in the depths of Lithuania, Ounté, a 19 year-old boy, joins the partisan movement that has gathered throughout the lands to fight against the soviet occupation. In Bartas’ most recent feature film, developing into adulthood is set in a field where the passionate innocence of youth is dangerously submerged by a wave of violence and deception. Of the 30.000 fighters that have fought in the Lithuanian forests, this is the story of one.
