After years of studying in Europe, Elsa returns to Costa Rica to reconnect with her family. She finds her younger sister living alone, growing increasingly distant and reclusive. Her father seeks out romantic adventures, while her mother is immersed in republishing erotic poems she wrote in her youth. Elsa’s return draws the three women into a confrontation with what still binds them, despite everything.
