Fay Grim

Almost ten years after Henry Fool, Hal Hartley returns to this universe with Fay Grim, a film now centered on the titular character, Henry's ex-wife, who tries to keep her 14-year-old son Ned away from his father's bad example. Meanwhile, she is coerced by a CIA agent to travel from Queens to Paris in search of the notebooks belonging to her fugitive husband, in what becomes an international espionage plot. The trilogy concludes with Ned Rifle (2014).
