Erotique

Erotique is the first Skolimowski film with a strong surrealistic streak. A man and a woman meet in a room covered in newspapers, the centrepiece of which is a large, dusty mirror, on which she writes the word ‘Erotique’ in Polish. The woman seems to be simultaneously attracted to and repulsed by the visitor, who might be an innocuous stranger or a rapist.
