Frequently revisited on the big screen, the story of Ebenezer Scrooge is getting a new adaptation, envisioned by Ti West and starring Johnny Depp. Just as in Charles Dickens’s London-set classic, Scrooge is a miserly man known for his anti-Christmas spirit. That changes on Christmas Eve, when ghosts of the past, present, and future take him on a supernatural journey that is, to say the least, transformative.
