The Grapes of Wrath

Devastated by drought, the Joad family's Oklahoma farm is now owned by the bank. Led by Tom, recently released from prison, the family heads to California, a sort of promised land, in search of a better life. Along the way, the Joads cross paths with a handful of other families making the same journey and sharing the same dream—but these are the times of the Great Depression. Based on John Steinbeck's iconic novel of the same name.
