Inspired by Neapolitan songs from his youth, the irreverent director Tonino De Bernardi created a musical drama that spans different eras. In 1920s Naples, Michele kills his unfaithful wife after being shaken by a film. Decades later, in 1999, other events take place in the same city. Like this one: Rosa’s sister murders her lover on the day of his wedding, yet both women continue to see him as if he were still alive.
