A hot, dry summer, like so many in recent years. A small holiday home on the Baltic coast. Four young people – old and new friends – come together in a desire for experimentation and liberation. But, unexpectedly and imperceptibly, they find themselves surrounded by flames that flare up the sky and fuel a growing climate of tension, bitterness and jealousy. The second part of the trilogy that began with Undine in 2020, Roter Himmel is a film suspended between symbolism and realism, which was awarded the Grand Jury Prize at the Berlin Film Festival.
