A Talent for Murder

An imagined encounter between a literary agent and the celebrated writer Patricia Highsmith: in 1995, the American author, now in her seventies and in failing health, lives in seclusion in Switzerland, surrounded by books, cats, and a collection of antique weapons. One day, Edward Ridgeway arrives, sent by a New York publisher to convince Highsmith to add another book to her famous series of novels featuring the character Tom Ripley.
