L'ile des Absents

The return trip to a place one has left as a child is a strange one. In this road-movie spanning only fifteen-hundred kilometres, there is the suggestion of a prolonged absence, the recollection of departures from which one has not returned. It is a voyage of questions about what unites us to the country of our childhood and to those who stayed behind.
