Leo, known by the pseudonym Amanda Gris, is a writer of popular novels going through a crisis. Married to a military officer stationed abroad, she lives in a relationship that is distant both physically and emotionally, and finds herself unable to keep writing happy endings. Disillusioned, she begins to explore darker themes and meets the editor of the newspaper El País, whose presence leads her to reevaluate her choices.
