Within the cycle Breaking the Bars, this debate aims to share the diverse experiences of prison ateliers, holding the belief that culture can create space for freedom and resistance from within the prison’s walls.
The guests Filipe Neves (A.E. Alcabideche) and Dino D’Santiago will be present in the event, and present the project JBL - Jovens Beats do Linhó [Young Beats of Linhó], for musical writing at the School of the Prisional Establishment of Linhó, along with participants and organizers of the project ‘Opera in the Prisons’, and ‘Casota Collective’.
The conversation will be followed by the projection of unseen shots from inside the prison, together with Dino D’Santiago, Filipe Neves and the prisoners who participated in the project.
