One of the greatest contemporary pianists living today, Piotr Anderszewski returns to LEFFEST for a unique concert at Teatro Tivoli BBVA, on the 17th of November, organized within the symposium “The Arts and the Public in the Post-Pandemic World”. The concert is followed by a conversation dedicated to Music in a post-pandemic context. Known for the intensity and originality of his renditions, Anderszewski has been distinguished with several awards, including the prestigious Gilmore Award, a prize given every four years to a pianist of exceptional quality. His extensive discography includes renditions of Beethoven, Mozart, Bach, Chopin and Szymanowski (of whom he played a rare piece in a concert at LEFFEST’14).
